When Bytronic Automation first approached Coca-Cola Enterprises Limited (CCE), LineView was a new approach to Production Line Monitoring.
The Coca-Cola Enterprises Edmonton site was quick to adopt the LineView technology. This contributed in the (CCE) plant at Edmonton winning two major industry awards in 2003, namely the Food Manufacturer Excellence Award and Best Household and General Products Plant.
According to Richard Davies, Operations Director of North London Operations, "the entire plant had pulled together to achieve this. The victory was shared by everyone who works at Edmonton".
At the time the company launched a five year vision to improve production and as part of that vision they adopted LineView. The result has been an improvement in line utilisation to 80%.
As a result Coca-Cola Enterprises Limited now see LineView as an integral part of their new action plan for improved productivity, which is being rolled out across Britain and Europe. This achievement clearly demonstrates the level of performance of LineView and the support and service that Bytronic can supply any FMCG Company.
